LOVE OR WHATEVER!

Recently, someone asked what love and heartbreak felt like to me and here's me writing out how I genuinely feel about it:

Someone asked today if I loved you

I looked at the person,

If it's supposed to hurt this bad, I do not want it

If I'm going to be crying all the time, I certainly don't want that either.

If love means always being at my lowest when I'm with you, I really don't want it.

If it means I'll always have to be less of me, I just don't want it.

I want a love that speaks so highly of what the future holds.

I want one like my parents have

I want one that will keep my pillows dry throughout

I want one that is always comfortable and really patient with me.

But, you cannot give me that and it's completely fine.

So this is me, day seventeen remembering how you wished I didn't care as much as I did.

I hope you are happier than ever.
